Works

“Small” or “Art “are the artworks of Ashkan Sadeghi. They initiates the dialogue between reality and artificial reality but they won’t remain in a virtual platform.

The role of advance computer simulation plays a significant role and it has been used to construct and deconstruct a narrative. A narrative that speculate a fiction through time-based media, either as a piece of installation or sculpture. They name “small” as in scale they are relatively smaller than other two category.

“Medium” or “Design “are the pieces that adds functional aspect to Ashkan Sadeghi’s art works. As of scale they stands between Art and Architecture works therefore the name “Medium” have been given to these series of works.

Although some of them are entirely fictional, as matter of ideology they stands between the border of art and architecture. Perhaps “Medium” section is the buffer zone between art and architecture borrowing means from two sides and binding a statement.

“Large” or “Architecture “are the works includes Ashkan Sadeghi’s large scale design projects. They are either academic thesis, research, competition or built architecture. The series named “Large” as they’re a larger design attempt to a context.

Most of the thesis based the relationship between human and energy landscapes, however the works that are client based project also take climatic phenomena as the core of design driving force.
